I saw God today

George Strait has a new album out - Troubadour. The hit single off of it is called "I Saw God Today". This is the chorus - I've been to church, I've read the book, I know he's here, I just don't look near as often as I should. His fingerprints are everywhere, I just slowed down to stop and stare, open my eyes and man I swear, I saw God today.
Here is where I saw God today -
  • My husband let me take his car to work because it had a full tank of gas and mine didn't
  • The face of a 3 day old baby
  • The excited/relieved voice of a coworker when she called to say her mom made it thru 4+ hours of brain surgery
  • A coworker surprised me with a Starbuck's late in the afternoon - a great pick me up!
Where did you see God today????

    I don't listen to much country music, and these days the girls rule the car radio with Radio Disney, but I will definitely check that song out. Where did I see God today?
    Excitement in planning with my fellow LIT leaders.
    An animal rescue employee working tirelessly to find homes for abandoned animals.
    A colleague just found out her 18 year daughter is pregnant and she is keeping the baby (it's going to be tough, but no termination - praise God!)
    I went to a party to celebrate a birth 9 years ago.
    I got an unexpected hug from my daughter's friend. She didn't want to let go!
